When we first published Golf Minnesota magazine in 1996 we included brief course descriptions of all Minnesota public golf courses. We said this about The Pines at Grand View: “A top-rated championship course, recognized numerous times by Golf Digest, Golf Week and… A must play resort course.” Grand View added The Preserve to their golf course offerings in 1996 and by 2001 we added this to our descriptions: “11 elevated tee boxes. Like no other course in Minnesota… The best clubhouse view in Minnesota golf“.
Grand View still offers premier golf opportunities and The Pines and The Preserve continue to be ‘must-play’ golf courses in Minnesota. The Pines has 3 nine-hole layouts that can be combined into different combinations. They are all great resort golf layouts. Pictured above is the 18th hole when you play the Lakes to Woods course. Whichever layout you play, be sure to grab a bite in Freddy’s Grill after your round.
